If you would like to suggest a Web Link, please send me a note (meli @ sg1web.com) describing the resource and why it should be added. I will review the site and decide whether to add it to the page.

If you would like to add a link to the NNG from your site, please feel free to do so. You may also download our banner to your server for link purposes.

Official Sites

The "sanctioned" sites for Stargate SG-1.

MGM - Stargate

http://www.stargate-sg1.com/home.html

MGM's site is a bit easier to navigate than they used to be (the discussion boards and store are still a usability nightmare) but there really isn't much in the way of new content.

Official Stargate SG-1 Fan Club

http://www.lightspeedfineart.com/stargate.html

LightSpeed Fine Art manages the SG-1 Explorer Unit, the official fan club. They also offer terrific lithos, replica props, and signed photographs in the Stargate Emporium.

Lost Boys Studios

http://www.lostboys-studios.com

Lost Boys Studios has been responsible for a number of the visual effects sequences in the series. The Portfolio section includes sample shots from Stargate SG-1.

Gatecon

http://www.gatecon.com

Official site for the only completely Stargate SG-1 fan convention, which is held each September in Vancouver, BC. I go every year, so maybe I'll see you there. ;-)

Sekh's Party

http://www.sekhs-party.com

Ok, so SP isn't truly "official," but it is a terrific event in conjunction with Gatecon each year, to raise money for cystic fibrosis research. I haven't missed one yet!

General Fan Sites

This is not an all-inclusive list, nor even a nearly-inclusive list. These are the sites I enjoy visiting personally, because they have unique content and are well organized and designed.

Sphinx Stargate SG-1

http://www.sg-1.co.uk

A really great UK site, with tons of original material. I'd say more, but I could never do it justice. Just go visit. :)

RDA Website--Stargate SG-1 Section

http://rdanderson.com/stargate/stargate.htm

First thing I thought when I found this site was "omigosh, someone who thinks the same way I do!" This is a terrific resource of references, details, and interesting ways of interconnecting and displaying information from the series.

GateWorld

http://www.gateworld.net

Best central depository for Stargate news. Also includes episode summaries/reviews and a growing series of well-written articles. Includes advertising.

Stargatefan

http://www.stargatefan.com

Another great collection of resources, including a large collection of fan fic (see separate listing below). They acquired the episode guides from the old SG-1.Net and have continued to grow from there.

The Stargate SG-1 Compendium

http://www.crosswinds.net/~smb814/sgc/

Very good episode summaries with lots of quotes. Infrequently updated, but still worth a look.

Multimedia Fan Sites

Sites that provide image/sound/video collections.

Stargate Episode Archive (formerly Gamma Quadrant)

http://www.sg1archive.com/

Episodes are available for download in Windows Streaming Media (*.asf) format (slowly being replaced with better *.avi files). They're small and pretty fuzzy but come in handy when you miss an episode or just want to be able to play one on your computer!

Thursby's Stargate Gallery

http://www4.tpgi.com.au/users/thursby/

Does anyone know if this is still available somewhere?

Bri's SG-1 Wallpaper

http://www.brionhet.com/wallpapers/SGMain.htm

A terrific collection of desktop wallpapers for the series, organized by "Episodes," "Characters," and "Themes."

Fan Fiction

What can I say - I really like Stargate SG-1 fan fiction. These are the places I frequent most, because they are collections of fiction by more than one author, and they all include category and/or rating systems.

Heliopolis Fanfiction Archive

http://www.sg1-heliopolis.com/home.html

This is definitely the place to start for Stargate SG-1 fan fiction! Now has a search engine to help you find the type of story you're interested in (works pretty well but could use a few usability tweaks).

Stargatefan

http://www.stargatefan.com/fiction/

Had to list this one here as well as above because the fan fiction section is just so great--I didn't want folks to miss it!

Daniel's Diaries

http://www.btinternet.com/~clark/index.htm

Home of Scribe's Shower Scenes (among others), which thankfully lets me fudge a bit on the "more than one author" requirement for listing sites, since Scribe's stories are a lot of fun.

The Tablet

http://www.bplus.ca/tablet/

A relatively small collection of fan fic, but the authors are, in my opinion, some of the better writers of SG-1 fan fiction out there. Includes the Beneath the Gutter (home of ZipFic) collection.

Stargate SG1 Fan Fiction Awards

http://followyourheart.org.uk/SG1Awards/

Vote for your favorite stories in a large variety of categories.
